Digital Ink have been building sports web sites since 1996, for football, rugby union and rugby league clubs in the top leagues in the country. We are keen to talk to other sports and companies supplying sports equipment.
Digital Ink first built a web site for a professional club for Watford FC in 1996 when the club was in the old second division, the team were promoted at the end of that season, and again to the Premiership in the following season. Andy Houldsworth had a good seat for the Play Off final at Wembley in May 1999 - in the press box for one of the last matches held in the old stadium.
We have also built sites for other football clubs including, most notably, Charlton Athletic. Please click below to visit some of our football sites.
Digital Ink's first rugby web site was for Bristol Rugby in 1998. It was also the first site that we built with tools that allowed the club to update their news, fixtures, league tables by themselves. There was also a shop and ticketing system that the club could update. The company has built sites for Bristol, Harlequins, Leicester Tigers, Bridgend, London Irish and London Wasps
Digital Ink have built sites for Warrington Wolves and Quins RL.
In late 2006 Digital Ink was commissioned to build a new web site for Epsom Downs race course. Racing has taken place at Epsom since 1661 and in 1779 12th Earl of Derby organised a race for himself and his friends at Epsom and the "Derby" was born. Although the term "Derby" is used around the racing world, Epsom is its natural home and every summer for the past 2 centuries race goers and royalty flock to this famous event.
In 2009 Digital Ink were commissioned to re-build a Website for the EIGCA. The European Institute of Golf Course Architects represents Europe's most qualified golf course designers and has over 80 Senior Members and Associate Members spread throughout 20 countries. Members of the EIGCA have shown through their skill, experience and training that they are able to design and supervise the construction of golf courses to the highest standards throughout the world.
In 2010, Digital Ink was commissioned to build a new web site for P1 AquaX a new jet ski competition. Shortly afterward we were asked by Powerboat P1 to build a series of sites for P1 Superstock, one of the largest powerboat competitions in the world.
