HTML Email Broadcasting and Design
Digital Ink can design attractive HTML email campaigns for organisations of all sizes. We send a lot of email magazines "ezines" out on behalf of our sports clients. But we also clean and manage lists and broadcast on behalf of businesses who wish to promote their services. We can give you back cleaned data with unsubscribes and bounces removed. We can also supply data showing the number of people who have opened and read your email.

Design Services
Digital Ink has been designing web sites since 1996 and the directors were designing sites for some 2 years before that. The company prides itself on generating high quality graphics in-house.
Good design is not only the ability to make a site pretty, it also has to provide a user interface that people of many different ages and levels of computer literacy find intuitive. Good design also has to ensure that a site downloads quickly so that prospective visitors do not fall off their seat with boredom. It is very difficult to balance these factors as all designers want to build exciting, dynamic sites with lots of interactivity.

Hosting
Digital Ink Internet Ltd has been an Internet Service Provider (ISP) for over 15 years. The company invested in server technology and leased lines in order to handle the peaks and troughs of the sporting calendar.
We host web sites for other companies on our servers and use a variety of operating systems (Windows, Linux and Unix) and database packages to give us the best choice of programming environment to suit our customes.
The company has a range of hosting packages for web sites and provides email and secure server options as well.
All servers are backed up daily onto tape and are protected from power failure by Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), which also provide a clean power source to the network.

Email Services
We currently employ several different mail server software solutions. These include Microsoft Exchange Server, Qmail (Linux), Postfix (Unix).
All our mail servers allow you to log on remotely from any Internet equipped PC and pick up your mail from anywhere in the world.
Digital Ink has a wide range of skills in supporting email, we provide email for leading sports clubs and you can speak to an expert straight away. No foreign call centres for us.
We can also assist with email marketing campaigns to your opt in client base. We currently send out a quarter of a million emails a week to subscribed supporters for our sports site customers. We can also design attractive, full colour emails and send these on your behalf.
Domain Names
Digital Ink Internet Ltd has been a member of Nominet since 1996. Nominet are the UK's governing body for domain names. (.co.uk, .org.uk, .net.uk, .ltd.uk, .plc.uk, )
The company can also act as a reseller of UK government and educational domains (.gov.uk, edu.uk & .sch.uk) as we are members of UKERNA.
We also supply .com, .net & .org. names via US and Australian distributors.
We are also resellers for UK CentralNic, which is the company responsible for .uk.com.
We have sourced for our customers domain names from Tuvalu (.tv), Iceland (.is), Italy (.it) and many more countries. So if you have a requirement for an unusual domain name, please contact us - we'll be delighted to help.
Digital Ink host Domain Names on our own servers. We are also proud of the fact that we do not have a call waiting system. We will give you clear concise explanations of the complicated registration rules for all the main domain names.
